The new miracle LIS 2.0 have been developed and deployed to support all aspects of the contemporary clinical and speciality laboratory helping the related stakeholders manage: the quality and integrity of test samples, all aspects of the testing and result review process, and the reporting of finalized results, interpretations, and diagnosis.
To support broader patient-safety initiatives, Akhil Systems has re-centralized its sample-collection process. sample collection, performed by care-centre staff, is now reassigned to a centralized lab team. this will help in decreasing all possible errors and mislabeled samples.
The records will be automatically delivered to hospital physicians who have account links on the EMR system. For 30% of the lab’s business from physicians who do not have EMR account links, test results will be sent through WhatsApp and SMS. Paper reports will need to be printed for only a very small number of physicians which will also help in achieving the Digital India goals.
Miracle LIS 2.0 will also help in standardizing workflows, tests and procedures while providing accurate controls of the process. Laboratory equipment (both unidirectional and bi-directional) may be integrated via different machines to automate the collection of test data, ensuring they are properly calibrated. The fully integrated configuration tools will also help in adapting the software to end-user requirements without compromising on support or future upgrades. A key attribute of Miracle LIS 2.0 is the avoidance of platform dependencies. The newest LIS software will also allow real-time quick transmission of all lab reports, including stats, directly to the mobile app. This faster tat capture will also enable robust patient satisfaction and improvement in overall turnaround time between patients and stakeholders.
